Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Data Analysis and Integration: Responsible for data collection, integration, validation, and analysis, with the ability to extract key information;
• QAQC: Establish and adhere to standards for geological data integrity, representativeness, and quality assurance/quality control (QAQC);
• Geological Modeling: Well-understand deposit geological characteristics and mineralization type and distribution; conduct tectonic, stratigraphic, and weathering/ alteration interpretations to build 3D geological models;
• Resource Estimation: Perform geostatistical analysis to select valuation parameters aligned with deposit geology; utilize IDW, Kriging, and other methods for resource estimation and validation; prepare resource reports;
• Secondary Ore Body Delineation: Conduct secondary ore body delineation based on RC drilling data, establish grade control models, and deeply understand the principles for validating grade control databases;
• Mining Plans: Participate in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans.
Skills
• Good understanding the entire workflow of geological exploration, geological modelling, resource estimation, mine geology, and open-pit mining operations.
• Proficient in data collection, geological interpretation, and validation, with expertise in 3D geological modeling software such as Leapfrog.
• Skilled in geostatistical analysis and excellent in extraction key information from large volumes of data, ability to apply geostatistical methods for resource estimation.
• Familiar with JORC reporting code and capable of preparing geological reports in English.
• Fluent in English with mature oral and written communication skills, and strong coordination abilities.
Knowledge
• Deep understanding of the geological characteristics and mineralization of sedimentary-hosted copper-cobalt deposits.
• Ability of recognizing hazards and unsafe situations on the work areas.
• Strong written and spoken English skills, and proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
Experience
• Over 8 years of exploration project management experience, and a background in geological work at large-scale copper-cobalt mines.
Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licenses
• Master's degree or higher in geology, mining geology, exploration technology, or related fields.
• Geological engineer with professional qualifications in resource estimation.
• Driving license.
